Bio
A dancer since childhood, Leyla Soleil is a graceful and polished performer. At the age of 8
Leyla was a competitive baton twirler who stayed 2 hours after school every day to prepare for
competitions. Her talent was proven with many trophies and awards, some at the state level.
Besides bellydance, she has studied ballet, jazz, samba and flamenco and continues her
studies through master workshops and other classes. Due to her intense passion for dance her
resume is long and some of her many titles include featured performer, dance company
director, choreographer, master level instructor, event producer and studio owner. Leyla is also
passionate about dance as an avenue to fitness and health and is certified in Yogafit level 1
and Zumba. She also trained intensely in Pilates on the reformer and taught at the Tom Smith
Studio in Akron for a year and a half.

Teaching
Leyla is the director of bellydance at Love 2 Dance Studio in Fairlawn, OH where she co-directs
Dance du Soleil along with Andrea Love. She teaches beginner through advanced level
bellydance at Love 2 Dance on a weekly basis.
Leyla is also currently teaching a bellydance course at the Westlake rec center
