Lots of people claim to dance Egyptian
style, but nobody does it like Angela
Prato (nobody around here anyway)!
Angela has spent a lifetime studying
dance, beginning at the age of 3. She
has chosen to focus on Egyptian style
of belly dance and we love her for it!
She has studied with many master
teachers and very famous dancers
from Egypt to perfect her craft and has
a deep knowledge of Egyptian culture.
A true pro with over 20 years of
experience, Angela has performed
with many famous singers and bands
in her career. One highlight of her belly
dance journey was performing on
stage with super star Lucy of Cairo.
Angela has performed at countless
parties, events, restaurants and clubs
too numerous to list here.

Leyla Soleil
Leyla is the owner/ operator of Dance
du Soleil. She has been a top
professional belly dance performer
and instructor for the past 7 years. She
has performed at nearly every venue in
northeast Ohio that has had belly
dancers during her career and still
maintains a very busy performance
schedule. She is loved by the Arabic
and Greek communities and has
graced nearly all the local newspapers
and magazines. She teaches 5
classes per week and is the artistic
director of Midnight Soleil, a modern
belly dance company based in Akron,
Ohio. Leyla produces a highly
anticipated show every year featuring
her dancers and other local dancers
coming together on the stage.

Leena is the newest member of the
DDS team. We are so excited to
bring her on board to grow our
Indian dance program. She is
familiar with the Punjabi culture and
has been performing in the bhangra
and bollywood styles since the age
of seven at cultural events,
weddings and theatrical shows.
Leena's bhangra class is a terrific
workout for men, women and
children.
